China’s Shenzhou 11 manned spacecraft has successfully docked with China’s Tiangong 2 space lab and two astronauts have entered, according to China’s official news agency Xinhua.

中国神舟11号载人飞船成功与天宫2号空间实验室对接，两名宇航员进入，新华社报道。

China is the third country after the United States and Russia to complete space rendezvous and docking procedures, Xinhua said.

The tech is probably from US/Russian space research anyway. After the break up of the Soviet Union, the Chinese bought quite a lot of Soviet space tech including Soyuz Capsules its a good bet that the Chinese Spacestation would be familiar to any cosmonaut that worked on Mir.

just a quick note, China asked to be part of International Space Station programme, twice, blocked twice by the US due to 'concerns' of China stealing technologies.
Now, right in the face of those paranoia and demeaning bureaucrats and in 2025, US will ask China's permission to use its space station.
Irony is in the space.

What is noticieable is in China rocket launches the flames emitted look clean and efficient unllike American, European and other countries rockets which emitting huge blooming toxic smoke and flames.

Different exhaust gases, too. My O-level Chemistry is a bit rusty, but I suspect rocket fuel combusts into less toxic soot and carbon dioxide, rather than nitrogen smog and methyl acid rain.
But hey, it's all about image.

Yes, if there's one thing we can always count on from China, it's that they don't pollute the air. The permanent haze that filled the air when I lived in Beijing was just materialised happiness.

The fact is right now America cannot send anyone to space without paying Russia to do it for them. Right now it is America who has fallen behind and playing catch-up to China.

Why would the US continue to do something that has been mastered? The next space goal will be far reaching space travel. Something China is well behind in but there is a long list of that stuff.

Instant noodles probably. That's what Chinese tourists usually pack when they travel. That and dried fish snacks and bland biscuit things.

"US defence dept pursuing prevention of others using space based assets in a crisis"......Ash Carter..paranoia rules...every one is against us...! Have you ever thought why Ash? Has your country had a ten year span where it wasn't fighting someone externally, fighting internally or destabilising a potential opposition? Defence in the United States is definitely a misused term!

“美国国防部会在危机时刻阻止他人使用太空资产”。。。美国真是偏执，总觉得别人对自己不利！如果以10年为一个跨度，美国不是和他国打仗，就是发生内部冲突，没有一个十年不是如此。防卫这个词被美国滥用了。
