Sanitation workers from a Chinese city have found an ingenious way to increase their work efficiency.

来自中国城市的环卫工人发明了一个奇特的方法来提高他们的工作效率。

Pictures have emerged showing workers in Xiaogan city Hubei Province attaching as many as 16 brooms to a spinning disk to help them sweep the roads.

The home-made device is 20 times more efficient than a normal road cleaner according to People's Daily Online.

The pictures were taken on November 12 on different motorways in Xiaogan.

According to the pictures the spinning disk was installed on a trailer pulled by a tractor.

As the tractor moved the brooms were rotating at high speeds sweeping the litter off the road.

The machines were thought to be revamped by the workers themselves and were extremely efficient.

According to the report each of these 'incredible road sweeper' - as the Chinese media call them - can sweep 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) of roads every day. This is about 20 times the efficiency of a sanitation worker.

根据报道，每一辆不可思议的道路清扫车--中国媒体这么称呼它们--每天可以清理20Km的道路（12.4英里），这大约是环卫工人20倍的效率。

How about we attach bamboo switches to it and use it for stationary corporal punishment purposes on prisoners especially repeat offenders? Rather than the comfy prison systems that don't work anymore?

Funny part is that different chinese cities copied everyone else design so they could they could have their own version. Notice how many different safety features each one has! None of these sweepers would ever throw smack rocks or anything else on the roadways at vehicles going to opposite directions would they? Why do they call the sweeper ends ''brooms'' when it's clear to see they are nothing more than dried out bushes attached to their contraption? Has china ever seen a real road sweeper which actually removes the items from the roadways or haven't they gotten that far down the list of stolen patients? Silly china.. Can a Iphone run it because if it cannot ts useless to everyone else!

中国最有趣的地方是他用别人的设计就用吧，偏偏还要形成一个自己的版本，哪个城市都一样（中国特色？）。好歹看看人家的清洁车装了多少安全措施啊！这种车真的不会在清扫的时候把碎石或者其他什么垃圾甩到对面车道上去吗？这尼玛就是在一个什么机器上装几根枯枝败木就敢叫扫帚？中国有真正见过扫垃圾的道路清洁车吗？还是说中国在所窃取的专利中没有包括这一项？愚蠢的中国。。可以用苹果手机操纵这种机器吗，如果不行的话，那就没啥用处了！

At least they have street sweepers. Here in America I think I was a child the last time I saw one.
