Donald Trump's name can be found on everything from sky rises to steaks but in China it's emblazoned on high-tech toilets.

Zhong Jiye a 40-year-old entrepreneur who founded Shenzhen Trump Industrial Company Limited said he didn't know who Trump was when he trademarked his company in 2002.

The company's Chinese name means 'innovate everywhere' and is pronounced 'Chuang Pu' bearing a remarkable similarity to the English word 'trump'.

Zhou called it a coincidence that his company had the same name as the president-elect of the United States.

Just days after he won the elections Trump added another victory by winning a decades-long dispute to trademark his name in China's real-estate-agent services the Wall Street Journal reported.

Not the first time this happened and it won't be the last. A TM can be shared in most places as long as the businesses are unrelated though it would be ironic to walk into a Trump tower and find Trump toilets in the bathrooms. I believe Apple computer and Apple records were at peace until the Ipod came out and Apple was in the download business. My favorite case was Nipper the dog in the "His Master's Voice" painting that was a TM for RCA here HMV in the UK JVC in Japan and Deutsche Grammophon (later sold to Electrola) in Germany. RCA had hoped all the companies that used it would be merged but WWII got in the way of that.
