美国俄亥俄大学发生校园袭击案11人受伤 [英国媒体]

SOMALI refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan has been named as the attacker behind the bloody rampage on Ohio State University that left eleven people injured.

The crazed 18-year-old rammed his car into a group of innocent bystanders on campus before getting out and stabbing people with a butcher's knife before police shot him dead.

Artan had left Somalia with his family in 2007 and lived in Pakistan before resettling in the US two years ago.

The FBI has refused to rule out terror as the motive behind the vicious attack in Columbus, which has one of the largest contingents of Somali migrants in the United States.

Artan was interviewed by the student newspaper The Lantern back in August, where he spoke about how he struggled to find a private place to pray on campus.

He transferred to the Columbus State at the beginning of the school year.

"I was kind of scared right now. But I just did it. I relied on God. I went over to the corner and just prayed.”

Although his motive remains unclear, authorities say the attack was planned in advance. Police Chief Craig Stone said: “This was done on purpose.”

Authorities also believe they have found the student’s Facebook profile, where they say he posted a “declaration” that expressed his grievances over attacks against Muslims, according to local reports.

The suspect jumped the curb and used his vehicle to strike pedestrians in front of Watts Hall, Monica Moll, the university's director of public safety said.

He is said to have used a sport utility vehicle, according to local media.

Campus officer Alan Harujko, 28, stormed to the scene and told the suspect: “Drop it and get down or I’ll shoot you” before killing him less than a minute after the attack began.

Even in the interview, instead of being grateful for being taken in and given a college education by the US -- all he did was COMPLAIN about not finding a 'private place' for prayer on campus. CNN stopped reporting on this since the attacker was revealed as a Somalian Muslim refugee..perhaps they were hoping he was a Trump supporter?
