Twitter has come under fire after it emerged that paedophiles are using its Periscope live streaming app to groom children as young as nine.

They are bombarding the youngsters with sexual questions and requests, asking them to lift up their shirts and take off their clothes.

The app – which has more than 10million users – allows people to film themselves on their mobile phones and broadcast to strangers over the internet.

Just keep children off the internet, it's as practical as keeping kids away from alcohol and tobacco which generally works very well. Stop exploiting children as a pretext for trying to control the internet, it's putting them at unnecessary risk.

I blame the leaders and companies more than the kids or parents. Parents are clueless, it's kids they target with technology. They have no age checks, no verification, no attempts to produce or sell separate hardware. I've long since suggested that leaders enforce hardware cheap, parents buy, companies man, then we can sue. Or simply sue the sites on the net. But as all social media are doing this, and you know it, and many are party to it, while games promote things to kids while calling it moderation knowing there is no such thing.... Money talks. It's simple to resolve, it's easy. But strangely it continues. It's almost like they want to encourage imprinting and harm to kids.
