Horrifying footage shows the moment a tiger is forced to ride a horse during a circus show in China.

一段让人毛骨悚然的视频显示了中国一场马戏团表演中老虎被迫站在马背上的情景。

The footage was taken in Haidong, China's Qinghai province on July 25. 

这段视频7月25日拍摄于中国青海省的海东市。

Following the stunt, the tiger is then tied up and made to pose for photos with visitors to the circus. 

这段表演之后，老虎被五花大绑，成为马戏团观众拍照的道具。

In the video, the horse can be seen in the ring at the circus. 

视频中可以看到马戏团的场地里站着一匹马。

Two keepers can be seen in the enclosure. One of them can be seen waving around a whip and hitting the floor.

All of a sudden a tiger approaches the horse and jumps on top of it.

The horse is then made to carry the tiger around the ring three times as the audience watches.

The keeper can be seen waving his whip.

The tiger then jumps off the other animal.

The footage then cuts to the tiger tied to a chain while children pose for pictures sitting on it.

Elisa Allen, Director PETA UK told MailOnline: 'In nature, you'd never see a tiger riding on a horse's back – just as you'd never see one jumping through a fiery hoop or balancing on a ball.
