The Chinese version of Top Gear hasbeen watched by more than 200 million viewers on TV and online, with the mostpopular episode to date the presenters racing across England, in vehicles including atank, to attend a football match.

中国版本的巅峰拍档在电视上和网络上获得了2亿多观众的收看，目前为止最收欢迎的一集是为了看一场足球赛主持人开着车在英国疾驰而过，其中包括了一辆坦克。

The second series of the Chinese version ofthe BBC’s Top Gear, with a Taiwanese actor-singer, a TV host and a former topexecutive at an internet firm taking the place of the, now former, Britishhosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, launched on pay-TV cableand satellite service Shanghai Dragon TV on 19 October.

这是中国版本巅峰拍档的第二季，主持人包括了一名台湾演员兼歌手，一名电视主持人以及一家网络公司的前高管，于10月19号在上海东方卫视开播。

The series, which airs across China and Taiwan, has so far attractedan average TV audience to date of 9 million viewers tuning into the firstscheduled broadcast of each episode.

这一季节目播放于海峡两岸，目前为止每集的平均收看人数达到了900万人。

Maybe the Chinese could do their ownreality TV, something like "I'm A Concentration Camp Prisoner Get Me OutOf Here" which would sure be a hit...or an electric shock...or awaterboarding...

The Guardian and all of its readers havebeen telling us for years that nobody's interested in this programme or thistype of programme.
Presumably the article's title should havesaid "... attracts 200 viewers"?

You're right - that's pathetically small.No broadcaster worth its salt in the UK would care about an audience ofjust 8 million.
