Note that Erdogan talks about"crusaders" - and thinks he is the reincarnation of Saladin whofought the crusaders.

The IS communiqué after the attacks salutedthem as a victory over
“idolater crusaders” in “places of perversion and prostitution”.
Not that we really needed any moreevidence, but it's clear that Erdogan is IS.

I think we are lucky that russia is not theUS. If it was the US who had a plane shot down already turkey would have hadtheir air fleet decimated.
looks like russia has taken a measuredresponse . Any air craft that pose a danger to their operation will now be shotdown I expect that means US french british or turkish. Turkey is a member ofnato so I,m thinking this response is reasonable.
