Sixty tonnes of baby formula and milkproduct on its way to China has been stopped by government officials.

As part of an ongoing investigation, theDepartment of Agriculture seized a major shipment from Melbourne in November,the Herald Sun reports.

The news comes as supermarkets arecontinuing to ration the amount of tins of baby formula sold per customer, dueto a shortage.

Madness. If there is a shortage then allowthe market to sort out the problem. Trying to beat the market will only createmore innovative responses. What is needed is more factories and more shifts inthe factories that exist. Shutting down legitimate exports might mean lessovertime being worked and less product.
