Green cards are regularly given to foreign nationals who bring benefit to the country, and obviously that includes having boat loads of investment capital. You can live in most countries this way. There have been cases of illegal immigrants winning lottery jackpots while extradition was pending. Guess what? It stopped. This is a non-story.

Trump hammers China That's the ONLY part of Trump admirable. Most of the politicians, Republicans and Democrats, have no balls to stand up against Chinese bully in South China sea, Chinese hacking US bank accounts, hacking government computers, stealing federal employees personal information, counterfeiting US products, currency manipulation, or dumping cheap products to break US industries. The best part of Trump is he calls Chinese 'thieves' and at the same time he claims he loves Chinese people.

I know it's fashionable to talk about ' dumb americans', but it's not so difficult to understand.
I'd say it's a deliberate ploy to direct justified anger away from those who are more responsible. Profit for shareholders is considered to be more important than what's good for American society. Perhaps the 'patriot act' is directed against the wrong people.

Because Trump is a great businessman, I assume he can see the next financial crash coming and have the foresight to setup his own mortgage company just before it happens. That would be what the really smart business leader would do.
