A tiny New Zealand townsuffering from too many jobs, too many affordable houses and not enough peopleto fill them has been swamped by more than 10,000 inquiries from around theworld after publicisingits plight.

“We’ve been getting smashed,” said BryanCadogan, the local mayor of Clutha, who has 5,000 unanswered messages on hisphone. Thousands more messages came in via email and social media.

I have Kiwi and Australian citizenships,and Now I am de nationalising my UK Citizenship and getting an Irish ancestryone. My father was in D Day landings and the Dieppe raid. My brother sent hismedals back on Monday. I was going to burn my UK passport on YouTube but foundout its an offence. I am gutted. I kissed my NZ and Australian passportsyesterday. My Son is joining the Australian Navy they have two new aircraftcarriers full of helicopters. I would put my life in the line for NZ andAustralia but now wish I was never born in England. It's an embarrassment in mylife.

Please remainers, don't come to NewZealand. We're not in the EU which obviously means we're just small-mindedlittle-islanders so you wont like it.
On a serious note, why on earth would youcome here to 'escape' brexit when we're not in the EU? I don't think you'llfind much sympathy here. I hope you don't try to drag NZ down like you try towith the UK.

I don't think you understand... The EUprotected us from the worst excesses of a right wing government which despitemembership of the EU has pursued an aggressive and unnecessary austerityprogramme, and is striving to put basic needs like good basic healthcare beyondthe means of ordinary people. It isn't leaving the EU that is driving peopleaway, it is the nature and tone of our internal politics. Still... You soundfriendly.
