France’s Prime Minister says the government is working on new initiatives to lure major international firms from London to Paris following the vote for a Brexit. Mr Valls said he did not want Britain to vote to leave the European unx but that it could be an opportunity for Paris.

Many French capitals came to UK to avoid French taxes that rose significantly under President François Hollande. Would you move your monies to France knowing that you are going to pay higher taxes? I don't think that it would be the obvious choice.

They will be paying 33% French corporation tax rather than 20% in the UK I'm not surprised they would be welcome in France but it makes little commercial sense.

Given that Germany suffered over 150000 casualties during the Battle of France I think it's fair to say the gloves were off.
Also if Germany hadn't lost close to 6000 planes while invading France they may have won the Battle of Britain.
