日本首相安倍晋三,在与里约奥运得奖选手合影时,敦促日本选手要努力让2020东京奥运成为“最好的一届奥运”。
RIO DE JANEIRO — Prime Minister Shinzo Abe urged Japan’s athletes to help make Tokyo 2020 the best ever Olympics on Sunday as he met the country’s medallists from the Rio Games.
里约热内卢——首相安倍晋三在与日本的得奖选手会面时敦促他们让2020东京奥运成为最好的一届奥运。
Abe posed for pictures and donned a Japanese team jacket as he met a group of 28 athletes, including champion wrestler Risako Kawai and Japan’s silver medal-winning 4x100m men’s relay team.
安倍在拍照时穿上了运动员们的的队服还摆了姿势,28个运动员包括日本摔跤冠军Risako Kawai和4x100接力赛的银牌得主。
“The Japanese government will strive hard so you can participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics so you will be in your best condition, and work hard so it will be the best Olympics ever,” Abe said at Japan House in Rio.
“日本政府将会努力办好2020东京奥运,并让你们保持最佳的状态,你们也要努力使东京奥运成为最好的一届奥运”
Japan finished in sixth place with 12 gold medals, their best haul since 2004 but shy of their all-time record of 16 Olympic titles.
日本在里约奥运奖牌榜排第六位,得到了12枚金牌,这是他们自2004以来最好的成绩,但并不如历史上最佳的16块金牌。
“Please share your efforts on how you overcame your challenges. Please share your experiences that only you who participated in the Olympics can share,” Abe said.
