Ten-year, multiple entry visas for Chinese tourists are set to be trialled soon.

给中国游客提供的十年期多次入境签证即将投入试运行。

The nearing of the trial comes as Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced 2017 would be a 'year of tourism' between China and Australia.

就在这次试运行即将到来之际，总理Malcolm Turnbull宣布2017年将是中澳“旅游年”。

Trialling the visas was a step towards increasing the competitiveness of the country's visa system, SBS quoted the prime minister as saying.

总理称，这次的签证尝试是为了提高澳洲签证系统的竞争力。

For the visas to remain valid, holders would have to frequently leave the country.

要想让签证保持有效，持有人必须经常离开澳洲。

Mr Turnbull said: 'China is already our number one market by value and it is about to become our number one market by volume'.

Do we get recipocial visa's ? I doubt it just more influx of chinese to overtake everything in Australia. Well done Mr Turnbull were we asked if we wanted this? NO you were too busy concentrating on something irrelevant like same sex marriage and listening tonyour religious mates. Being swamped by Chinese is a big issue that many Australians would have liked a say in. Just watch the next election but you wont care as you want be there just a Huge pension and may be ambassador to China?

Australia is a country of migrants. Yes we all came from some where else. Whether it be me, you or our parents. It is time to stop all this anti immigration ranting. Parts of the world are over populated and we have a country that is in dire need of development and restructure. Australians must accept and increase the scope and number of people we currently have. we also need assistance in doing so. Our present government is short sited and unable to meet the needs of our current population. They also have failed to understand where our future is or how to get there. Stop being stupid, all of you and accept Australia's place in the world. We need partners that will help us diversify our economy and develop this great nation. We need assistance in this journey. not isolationist policies or scare mongering. Accept the future and our place in the world. It is time for all Australians, yes all of us to be more understanding and inclusive. China is not the enemy. They should be our friend.
