India celebrated its 67th anniversary of becoming a republic with celebrations across the country on Tuesday, including a military and cultural parade through the capital.

Why doesn't Pakistanis go back to there forefathers religion,Hinduism and India just seems natural,Wonder if India would even take Pakistan back

Ashley, you hit the point. Pakistanis ARE desperate to come back. The Indians however are not interested at all, which bugs the pakistanis no end. They hang around Indian chat rooms, have endless fascination with bollywood movies and anything Indian. Their leaders are forever declaring 'India we are not coming back, ok, ok, you got that ok ok?'. Pakistanis have zero interest in building a nation as is pretty obvious from everything they do. They're just carrying on with the hope that India will someday take them back. Pity the poor suckers.

Jealous of what?  I am glad that I don't live in India.  If I were born an Indian, I would have killed myself with a knife as soon as I was old enough to pick one up.

Pics remind me of Trinidad carnival. Gotta love the camel corps and the dogs. everybody in costume. The one thing I don't get is the bagpipers. Whats up with that?
