This was how some Chinese netizens reacted to the arbitration ruling that favored the Philippines and rejected China’s “historic” claims to almost all of the disputed and resource-rich South China Sea.

这是普通中国网民对于南海仲裁的反应，这个仲裁支持了菲律宾，并且驳斥了中国对于有争议的资源丰富的南中国海的“历史”主张。

In a music video compilation circulating online, Chinese people, particularly youngsters, said the phrase “South China Sea arbitration (in Chinese), who cares?” while facing the camera, with an upbeat music on the background.

在一个网上流传的音乐录像剪辑中，中国人，特别是年轻人，用汉语说“南海仲裁结果，谁在乎呢？”当面对镜头时，配上了一个欢快的音乐背景。

Two Chinese girls in camouflage military clothing pulled out knives, all smiles, after saying the phrase.
Footages of China’s military activities and artificial islands were also included in the now viral clip.

两个身穿迷彩军装的中国女孩拔出刀，在说出该段措辞后都笑了。
中国的军事活动和人工岛视频同样包含在了这段邪恶剪辑中。

The video, which was first uploaded by Beijing news site dooo.cc on its Weibo account, has been shared in multiple platforms.
It was also shared by the Defiant Chinese Communist Party Youth League in its social media accounts.

这段视频首先由一家北京新闻网站dooo.cc通过其微博账号上传网络，然后一直在各种平台上传播。
视频同样被目中无人的中国共青团在其社交媒体账号上传播。

On Tuesday, the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague ruled that “there was no legal basis for China to claim historic rights to resources within the sea areas falling within the ‘nine-dash line,’” a vague demarcation found on a 1940s Chinese map.

在周二，海牙常设仲裁庭判决“中国没有任何合法依据提出对九段线（一个1940年中国地图上的模糊划界）内南海资源的的历史主张”。

Beijing rejected the decision as expected, calling it “null and void and has no binding force.”

就如意料中的，北京拒绝承认判决结果，称其“没有任何法律效力和约束力”。
