中国：“一些国家”需要给予巴基斯坦反恐作用的信任 [巴基斯坦媒体]

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif arrived in China on Friday at the start of his regionaloutreach for consultations on the new US policy on Afghanistan and SouthAsia.

外交部长KhawajaAsif（赫瓦贾•阿西夫）于星期五抵达中国，开始就美国关于阿富汗和南亚新政进行区域磋商。

Addressing a joint press conference afterhis meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing, Asif said that the two countriesagreed that the solution to the Afghan conflict has to be fundamentally politicaland that there is no military solution to the issue.

阿西夫在北京与中国外交部长王毅会见后联合召开记者招待会，阿西夫表示两国意见达成一致，认为只能从政治层面解决阿富汗冲突而不能使用军事手段。

He appreciated China's"constructive role" in the process for a politically negotiatedsettlement of the Afghan conflict, saying that Pakistanand Chinacan together contribute to a political solution to the conflict.

他赞赏中国在政治谈判解决阿富汗冲突过程中起到的“建设性作用”，称中巴可共同为政治解决冲突做出贡献。

Meanwhile, the Chinese foreign ministersaid Pakistan and China standtogether in the changing regional and global scenario.

与此同时，中国外交部长表示在日益变化的地区和世界局势下中国将与巴基斯坦站在一起。

"Chinasupports Pakistanin safeguarding its national sovereignty and dignity," he said.

他表示，“中国支持巴基斯坦维护自身国家主权和尊严。”

Wang Yi said the international communityshould recognise Pakistan'sefforts to eliminate terrorism.

王毅称国际社会应当对巴基斯坦在消除恐怖主义方面做出的努力给予肯定、

"When it comes to the issue ofcounterterrorism, Pakistanhas done its best with a clear conscience. In comparison, some countries needto give Pakistanthe full credit that it deserves."

“在反恐问题方面，巴基斯坦可以说是问心无愧，他们已经做了最大的努力。相比之下，‘一些国家’需要给予巴基斯坦它应得的信任。”

Very true. I think Pakistan should stop using Afghanistan and its people as a farm to producefringe and unstable elements that have not only pushed the Afghans years backand into dark ages but is threatening to take Pakistan along with it. Pakistan's gamble to farm Afghanistan has not paid back as much dividendsas Pakistanwould have liked. In fact the price Pakistan has had to pay is far morethan what it has got. The gamble was paying off well till they could directthese elements towards Indiaand US was paying well to assist them their war. But subsequent terror attackswithin Pakistan and theconditional disbursement of funds by US has completely changed the dynamics andhas started to bite Pakistan

真相了。我认为巴基斯坦应该停止利用阿富汗及其人民，这种行径衍生出的边缘化和不确定因素使得阿富汗人重回黑暗时代，对巴基斯坦来说也是一个巨大的威胁。巴基斯坦为谋求阿富汗而做出的赌注回报并不丰厚。事实上，巴基斯坦要偿还的金额比其得到的利益要多得多。所幸这个赌注的烂摊子都由印度和美国为协助其战争而解决了。随后在巴基斯坦境内发生的恐怖袭击以及美国有条件的拨款已经完全改变了如今事态的局势，巴基斯坦开始受到影响。

You are wasting time and energy. US willcall the shots because it is US soldiers and their money that's involved in Afghanistan. Russia and China neither sent their soldiersnor invested their money there. Moreover Afghanistan will decide if it is apolitical or military solution because it is their problem. And they have optedfor military.

All this talk sounds so nice. However weassume that Pakistanwith this new found wisdom will ensure that its allies The Taliban and Haqqaninetwork eschew violence or be brought to book. World has been demanding thesame, reconcile politically by handing in the weapons or else military solutionremains the only option. Either Pakistansucceeds in bringing its allies to the table and helps hammer out a politicalsettlement or aids the process of their physical destruction. The third optionof pretending to change but maintaining status quo ill be the worst choice.

话讲得真好听。我们假设巴基斯坦可以保证其盟友塔利班和卡哈尼组织不受攻击。世界对其的要求都是相同的，通过上缴武器寻求政治调和，不然就只剩下军事解决这一个选择。要么巴基斯坦成功借助其盟友打破僵局进行政治调和，要么加速他们的灭亡。假装改变却维持现状的第三种选项将是最糟糕的打算。

U.S. gave Pakistan$1.5 billion dollars in aid last year. Other media reports quotingCongressional estimates suggest the U.S.gave $18 billion to $19 billion to Pakistan since 9/11. But thosefigures actually underestimate what U.S.taxpayers spent on Pakistan.
