recently started reading Slaughtering the Heavens again and i now relized why i stoped. whenever a girl apears it becomes jade this and jade that. if only xianxia authors would stop useing the word that and astonished seeing it everywere and it irks me. the words along with their related concepts.

Started（骤起）——这个词，我在很多翻译里面都到了...这不应该是startled（收到惊吓）吗？..
这两个词有点像..一个人跳到主角前面，主角收到了惊吓。（译者：我觉得应该是骤起，大概没翻译错）

kill! - this one. I mean, they have very poor vocabulary, especially when they are chasing our mc (just becouse he is looking like typical chinase mc, that's enough reason to chase him for next 40 chapters only to be killed by plot armor). Authors could make it more rich

So using "start" is not wrong in the example you gave.

What is so good about immortal? i mean even an immortal also did die. though mainly because of other immortal.
"Face and body like jade" they should try describing beauty women with something else instead.
"Arrogant" they pretty much like this word.
Also "paying kindness 10 times and enmity 100 times" which i dont understand why not the otherwise.

Well in fact it's pretty important because if they don't respect you in a place were you are not the top dog they'll bite you. Of course they could change it for words like honor or something like that. It helps them stay alive.

实际上面子还是挺重要了，如果他们不尊重你他们会咬你。当然也这个词也可以换成荣誉或者什么的。脸能帮他们活着。

There are plenty of words and phrases that would be good to remove/change. Though in the end I'd most like the descriptions of these peerless beauties to mean something. Face like this, nose like that, eyes like... you know what I mean, you read like 2 paragraphs describing it and yet come away non the wiser to what they actually look like. Maybe my imagination is simply lacking, or I need to go out and gain experiences and understanding but I just don't know.
One of my favorite novel currently is Bringing the Farm to another world. One reason is Laura is described extremely simply, she looks like Taylor Swift. Granted I live under a rock, so still had to google it to find out, but hell at least I now know exactly how she looks like. A few other novels also do this, but they name a Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc woman, so I don't know their name, though when google'd they were hot, so was satisfied.

我最喜欢的小说是Bringing the Farm to another world。原因是Laura 描写的很简单，看起来像Taylor Swift。可惜我是原始人，所以我用谷歌找到了他，所以我总算知道她长什么样了。有好几个这样的小说，有个中文，韩文，日本名字的女人。我不知道她们的名字，我谷歌了下，很满足知道她们长什么样。
这里有好些词和句子应该去掉或者修改。虽然最后我最喜欢无与伦比的美丽能具体描写写。
脸这样，鼻子那样，眼睛像什么..你知道我的意思，你读了两章的描写，你终于知道他们长的怎么样了。
可能我的第一印象比较匮乏，或者我需要更多的经验来理解这些，所以我现在还不是弄得太明白。

I can live with "I, your grandfather" or "give me some face", because they are (mostly) repeated by different persons and (to me) the chinese equivalent to "F*** you b**ch" and "show me some respect, bro".
What I can't stand is this:
"Hey MC, we're here to kill you, rape your girls and take your stuff"
-MC kills one of them-
"MC!!! You're truly COURTING DEATH"
...
You're already about to kill him, instead of courting death, he's just increasing the bill "death" has to pay on their date

其实我能接受“我是你爷爷”或者“给我一些面子”，因为他们（几乎总是）被不同人重复（给我），其实是中文里对应的"F*** you b**ch（cao你的婊子）","给我一些尊重，兄弟"
我不能忍受的是：
“你好主角，我们来这里杀你，强奸的你的女人，拿走你的东西”
然后主角杀光了他们全部
“主角！！你在找死”
。。。
你都已经要去杀他了，其实他不是找死，他只是为他的死亡账单上填上一笔

I love all the words. Sorry I am not helpfull at all here, but this is my honest opinion on this matter. In my honest opinion I think that there is no use in deleting any word. All the words are nice and didn't trigger me.
Oh hold on a moment. There is actually a word that can trigger me hard. And this word is "no".
So let's delete "No" from the novels or any kind of words that implicate rejections...

It's both. Started and Startled essentially mean the same thing: to give someone a sudden shock, or have them flinch or jump a little. IMHO started is more often associated with the physical reaction, while startled seems to usually be associated with the person's emotional state.

这两个。Started 和 Startled 本质上指同一个事情:给一些人一些惊吓，让他们跳起来。我的意见是started 更加与身体上反应有关，而Startled 更加与精神上有联系。

You say that but the only meaning for Started I know does not have anything to do with being surprised, scared or freaked da faq out. Which is usually what most translations use them for?... Unless it is hidden somewhere in an old english dictionary.

The example may not be the best... many translations use them to mean someone being surprised or shock which should use the word Startled and not started..
