In an unfortunate incident, a Chinese worker lost his life while working on Section 2 of Abbottabad the Motorway near Dobather-Pawa. The project is part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

一名中国工人在阿伯塔巴德高速公路二期工程由Dobather至Pawa段附近因一起不幸的事故而身亡。这一工程属中巴经济走廊（CPEC）的一部分。

According to reports, the 35-year old man, identified as Fung, fell in an excavated opening and severely injured himself upon falling on iron bars that had been fixed in the trench.

据报道，这名35岁的冯姓工人坠入一个挖掘现场，并在沟渠中固定着的铁条上受到了严重伤害。

The worker was promptly transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

受伤工人被紧急送往地区紧急事务总部医院，但因抢救无效而身亡。

District Police Officer Abbottabad, Ashfaq Anwar, while confirming the incident, told Dawn.com that this was an accident and that local police was conducting a detailed inquiry.

阿伯塔巴德的警官Ashfaq Anwar证实了这一事件，并向黎明报透露说这是一起意外事故，当地警察正对事件展开调查。

Amidst tight security, the body of the worker has been shifted to Dobather Camp after an autopsy and will be transferred to China soon after.

在严密的安全措施下，工人的遗体在进行检验后已转移至Dobather营地，很快将被转移回中国。

Sorry to gear but wonder why Chinese workers involved in road building tasks? I am sure pakistani workers are well capable of such hi tech tasks.....

Very unfortunate but a part of such a huge work. Karakoram Highway from China Border to Balakot was completed with help of China which took over 20 years in completion and during the process, about 2,500 Chinese workers lost their lives.

RIP. We mourn for his untimely demise but this appears health and safety breach that may have prompted fatal accident. Chinese are famous for working beyond standard stiputaletd hours and not following H&S rules. I am in North America and I can't work more than 40hrs in a week.Beyond that permission is required in extreme cases that too for few hours.Also there is a gap b/w two shift. Lot of breaks during duty hours, extreme weather safatey and uses of safety gears etc etc. Investigation is needed to avoid future incidences because of long lasting of CPEC project.

逝者安息。我们对他的不幸离去而哀悼，但这里出现了可引起致命事故的安全隐患。中国以建造速度迅速而闻名，且不遵循H&S标准。我在北美，我没法一周工作超过40小时(???)。CPEC工程是个长期项目，有必要展开调查避免以后类似事故的发生。
